Judy Jiang brings a strong financial and analytical background to her legal practice. Before attending law school, she graduated with Honours from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, majoring in accounting. She subsequently earned her Juris Doctor from UBC’s Peter A. Allard School of Law, where she completed the Business Law Concentration program.
Her combined background in accounting and law is particularly relevant to matters involving financial records, debt, business interests, property, support, and enforcement. Judy’s primary areas of practice are family law, civil litigation, and creditors’ remedies. She assists clients with disputes in which careful analysis of both the legal issues and the underlying financial information can play an important role.
Judy has advocacy experience before the Provincial Court of British Columbia, the Supreme Court of British Columbia, and the British Columbia Court of Appeal. Her interest in courtroom advocacy also developed during law school, where she participated in UBC’s upper-year trial mooting program.
Judy practices in Mandarin and English, allowing her to assist clients who may be more comfortable discussing complicated legal and financial matters in Mandarin.
Outside of work, Judy enjoys photography and travelling.
