Weitao Zhou brings a strong analytical background to his legal practice. He earned a Bachelor of Mathematics with a Business Specialization from the University of Waterloo in 2020 before attending the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, where he received his Juris Doctor in 2023.
During law school, Weitao gained practical experience working with clients through several community legal programs. He volunteered with both the Chinatown Clinic and the Immigration Clinic of the Law Students’ Legal Advice Program and also provided legal services to marginalized clients through the Rise Women’s Legal Centre. These experiences gave him early exposure to client-focused legal work and to individuals navigating legal issues in difficult or unfamiliar circumstances.
Today, Weitao practices in corporate and commercial law, family law, wills, and conveyancing. He assists clients with both personal and business legal matters and approaches problems with an emphasis on clear analysis and practical solutions.
Weitao practices in Mandarin and English, allowing him to assist clients who are more comfortable discussing legal, financial, or business matters in Mandarin.
In his spare time, Weitao enjoys playing volleyball and exploring the hiking trails near Vancouver.
